The Center for
Community
Cooperation
offers free
meeting space to
nonprofit
organizations
working in
coalition or
independently.
Priority is
given to groups
working in
coalition. A
coalition is
defined as "two
or more groups
that bring
together
organizations to
address issues
of concern to
the community at
large." To be
eligible to use
the CCC, a
nonprofit
organization
must have
501(c)(3)
tax-exempt
status or be a
governmental
entity working
within the State
of Texas.
The focus and
format of each
meeting may be
determined by
the nonprofit,
as long as the
content or goal
is
in support of
the
organization's
mission. See the
policies and
procedures
for more
guidelines and
reminders.
A copy of the
organization
mission
statement and
501(c)(3)
determination
letter from the
IRS must be
received and on
file prior to
scheduling space
at the CCC. This
information can
be faxed to
214.824.7840,
Attention: Sally
Shank. Please
include a
contact name and
number on your
cover sheet for
call back.
Fees
There is no
rental charge
for the use of
the meeting
facilities. In
return, groups
assume the
responsibility
for cleaning the
meeting space
and leaving it
ready for use by
other groups.
Nominal fees are
charged for
audio/visual
equipment,
meeting
supplies,
beverages,
photocopying and
